    Short walk from the major attractions and local markets. The room was spacious and comfortable, but I found the bathroom a bit cramped. The breakfasts were good, though a bit repetitive over four days.

    The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the whole room was new-fashioned and stylish. Absolutely fantastic breakfast was available. The location was marvellous and amazing, in the historic centre of Oaxaca. The pool was great, the staff was outstandingly accommodating and exceptionally kind.

    The hotel's architecture reflected its unique history, and the courtyards were filled with vibrant flora. I particularly enjoyed the peaceful gardens that provided a perfect retreat. The attentive staff were genuinely committed to.

    This hotel is the quintessential Mexican historical experience. Magnificent grounds. Colorful decor. Exquisite service. The Colonial architecture of the hotel and the surrounding neighborhood literally takes you back in time.

    The quinta real is great location for exploring downtown attractions. We loved the unique vibe from the historical building and beautiful little gardens. The guelaguetza show was a highlight, with tasty buffet options and a lively atmosphere in the old chapel, a nice experience!

    The location of the hotel is favourable, right by cafes / restaurants / galleries, the main town square and all the nice restaurants and bars in the artisan parts of town. You'll need 5 minutes to walk to Expendio Tradicion with nice drinks. The breakfast is marvellous, fantastic and the staff is knowledgeable.

    The room is a little small.
